People are looking at other people “like stay away from me” or “I have to stay away from you” because one is coughing or sneezing. This is the start of allergy season. Also people smoke. So just because they are sneezing or coughing doesn’t mean that they are infected. They might have allergies, they smoke. Yes everyone is in a state of distress over everything going on. I’ve heard of people complaining or seeing people distance themselves from people who are COUGHING OR SNEEZING into their arms. Even employers are speculating even tho the person is coughing or sneezing but in adequate health to work, sending people home. I get it. Get a note from your doctor if you can. I’m not trying to start a debate. We are a small community yes, people are doing the best they can do. But please don’t just ASSUME that people have contracted This virus. A lot of us parents have children in school and have colds since the beginning of the school year. We make sure that our children are being taken care of the best we can. We all have coughs. Yes keep your physical distance. But don’t give someone a dirty look because they cough or sneeze. Instead, ask them from the required distance of they are ok. This is Revelstoke. We love all (except maybe the stinky skiers). I’m also and essential worker. Who’s is isolated to my “booth”
My rant. Be safe. Stay healthy and remember physical distance.
