It seems to me that if everyone was to assume and act as if they already have the virus and self isolate etc. for 14 days with their immediate circle of people (the people they live with) the curve will flatten. If there are any infected people they will already be isolated and monitored by the people in their household and more easily get the medical help they need. I’m talking about real 14 day isolation ( not going out just for a quick...whatever)
Clearly no human on the planet wants to self isolate for 14 days, but the reality is that eventually all or most of us are going to have to do it at some point anyway. Why wait until we are sick. Self isolating at home doing projects and spending quality time with your people while healthy sounds a lot better than self isolating at home sick in bed.
Everyone would need to participate. Could revelstoke be the community that begins this global trend? We could do this together. We could get media coverage and real government support to try this. Our essential services for non residents are located on the highway. 14 days is not that long.
