FYI you can be fined for driving around with a thick layer of snow on top of your vehicle. The ticket will say driving with an unsecured load. Also consider that you could be sued if you hit someone or something if that layer of snow on the roof slides onto your windscreen obscuring your vision. Take a minute and grow up, clear the snow, be a responsible citizen. Driver is always responsible for the load.
