Prenatal vinyasa yoga is great way to stay fit during pregnancy, nurture your body and connect with your baby.

Meet other beautiful mothers to be, build your parenting tribe and connect with like minded women.

Prenatal yoga can help prepare you for labour and promote your babies health. It can help alleviate discomfort during pregnancy, improve sleep, reduce stress and anxiety, increase the strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles needed for childbirth, decrease lower back pain and nausea, improve circulation, promote better baby positioning and increase the chance of shorter labour time.

You don’t need any yoga experience and can start at any stage of pregnancy, even in the last month.

Natalie’s Bio:
Natalie Spittal did her Yoga Teaching Training in Bali in 2013 and has spent the last five years honing her skills as a teacher. This year she traveled back to Bali to complete a Prenatal Yoga Teacher Training Certification with world renowned Prenatal Vinyasa Teacher Jennifer More, who shared her knowledge from 20 years experience as a Doula, Advanced Doula Trainer, Childbirth Educator, Yoga Teacher and Mother.

Although Prenatal Yoga is traditionally quite gentle, the method developed by Jennifer More also incorporates stronger vinyasa elements that are modified for comfort throughout pregnancy and have a powerful effect on the women’s body, self confidence, childbirth experience and postpartum recovery.

Natalie is looking forward to sharing this Prenatal Vinyasa Yoga with the Revelstoke community with monthly run series at Balu. Although you can get benefits from just one class of prenatal yoga it is better to practise more often and that is why we are offering the monthly series with two classes each week.

Pregnancy is a beautiful and transformative time in women’s life. The yoga sequence taught in these classes will be consistent throughout the series giving you a chance to check in with your changing body during all stages of pregnancy.
