Clean desk and lobby area, ensure hotel is locked and secure after hours.
Restock any necessary visitor information materials
Sell and assign rooms
Customer service – Cots, Cribs, extra towels etc
Receive & record reservations
Check emails and voicemail throughout shift
Monitor room and house account charges from restaurants for accuracy and file correctly
Deal with complaints and emergencies – record maintenance on list, housekeeping issues
Communicate any special problems or requests with applicable departments
Post gift certificate usage
Maintain group bookings
Stock office supplies, cash envelopes, vouchers
Clean desk and lobby area, restock any necessary materials
Clean & fold kitchen rags
Vacuum lobby, ensure front and back entrances are clean of debris
Handle and organize Lost & Found
Check all printers, staplers etc. and refill when necessary
Pick up garbage around exterior of building in early a.m.
Set up breakfast area
Set up small coffee station on Lounge bar
Check hot tub area – remove glasses and towels
Empty desk garbage and take out to compactor along with any cardboard recycling

Night Audit
Do operator cash out and fix any mistakes found – Balance till and credit cards.
Perform Batch closes of all Moneris devices in restaurants and front desk
Print registration cards for arrivals
Check-out guests, ensure proper payment is taken and posted
Communicate all issues with morning shift

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
Applicant must be presentable and engaging.
Use of Visual Matrix Property Management System preferred, but full training available
Comfortable with Outlook, Excel, Word, Open Table and use of Moneris machines for taking payment.
Dealing with money and payments, posting of all transactions through PMS.
Exceptional people skills, friendly, warm and genuine when greeting our guests and interacting with staff
Applicant must be responsible, reliable and feel confident working unsupervised.
Must be organized, able to prioritize and complete daily list of tasks for the night shift.
Good communicator - passing on information to the next shift and recording issues in our maintenance and communication logs.
Must have valid work visa or be a Canadian resident
Must be able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
