On March 1st, 2017 I was left stranded out doors from my rental suite of 5 years. The owner changed the locks on all doors so I could not enter my rental suite. Even though I connected with various support services within my community I received no support from anyone within my community where I have resided for 42 years. What was happening was not considered an abuse situation and It was not a threat to my safety. Along with the letter from the lawyer that allowed me to be in my rental suite until March 31st, 2017, which would have given me 30 days to pack and move, I was left stranded outside and I had nothing with me and got nothing not even a blanket even though I reported it to the police, The women's shelter and others who stated there was no way to help. If this is not an abuse situation why would a doctor say it is a situational crisis. No help but a hospital bed? Not an abuse situation? If anyone has any input regarding what abuse looks like please contact me at my email:
