Ski Tech: The Ski Tech plays a key role in program preparation and operations. The Ski Tech is skilled in technical ski/board duties and can work efficiently to prepare a large volume of skis and snowboards the evening before a new group of guests arrive.
Education and Skills Requirements:
Minimum of High School education
1-2 years of technical shop experience including ski/board tuning and set-up
Salomon Certification considered an asset
Detail-oriented with the ability to meet tight deadlines
Excellent communication skills – able to receive and act on feedback in an effective manner
This position consists of 4 hour shifts the evening before and morning of exchange days. Exchange days occur on either 4, 5, or 7 day rotations depending on the week and trip configurations. This position works part-time, roughly 8-16 hours per week.
Radio Duty Attendant: The Radio Duty Attendant position at CMH Revelstoke conducts radio dispatch for field operations, logistical support for the ski programs, and performs a variety of office duties. The position calls for an understanding of day-to-day operations, as well as the ability to perform administrative tasks, problem solve and deliver exceptional guest service. This position stays well connected to the ski program and updates the Lodge Manager regularly throughout the day.
Education and Skills Required:
Minimum of a high school education
Clear attention to detail with a commitment to excellence
Radio Dispatch experience an asset
Clear communications skills
Capable of operating under stressful conditions
Intermediate computer skills in Word and Excel
Must be able to be a self-starter; good at problem solving
Strong organizational skills
Flexible and adaptable to changing circumstances/duties
This position consists of an 8 hour work day, 4 shifts per week
