I am the original owner of a first generation KLR that has been very well maintained. Oil change every 5000km and air filter cleaned regularly. The other fluids have been change every couple of years or at recommended intervals. Lots of extras.
Aluminum skid plate
Wolf man pannier racks with wolf man bags (river bag material. 100% water proof)
Master cylinder guards
320mm front rotor
Flush mounted front signal lights
Custom paint job (the only crappy thing with the bike, but makes it less appealing to steal when traveling the world on it)
Progressive front springs with gold valves and 15 weight oil
Cohgent rear shock ( I may have spelt it wrong. Built by a gentleman in North Carolina who build suspension for race bikes and KLR s)
“Doohickey” replaced (timing chain tensioner spring)
Valves adjusted around 35000km and still in spec
Clutch friction plates and springs upgraded
Stage two jet kit
FMF power bomb heads pipe
FMF slip on silencer (sounds great and not too loud)
Accessory fuse box to allow you to run a heated vest and gps and whatever else you want with out potentially damaging your battery and electrical system.
Saddle man seat (much easier on the boys and allows more blood flow to the glutes during the long rides)
I have an IMS tank that can hold 30L but has a small pin hole leak. I can try to fix it and include it in the sale if you want it.
IMS foot pegs
I think that’s it. It’s a great bike and has never left me stranded and very easy to work on.
Will trade for a trials bike. The bike is registered in BC and is in Revelstoke.
Thanks for taking the time to read this.
